Amy and I attended the same church and taught Catechism classes together, where our respect and friendship grew out of our shared faith and love for Jesus. I nominated Amy for Oakland County’s Counselor of the Year award, which she won amongst 28 districts and hundreds of colleagues working within the same capacity. Amy’s brilliance and dedication to transform student readiness for life after high school was an inspiration to all who knew and worked with her.  She and I have worked on many educational initiatives. Her expertise and passion for service is unparalleled!

Outstanding Guidance

I presented Amy with the Detroit WXYZ Channel 7 “Ann Marie’s All Stars Award,” for being a transformational leader in education and making a huge impact in Oakland County, MI. She is well known for her expertise in assisting students to identify their intrinsic and extrinsic talent, empowering them to map out their visions with college and career aspirations. Her tiered systems of support has been adopted by several districts in Oakland County.
